Terms of use
These terms describe use of Modern Calendar, a personal desktop calendar application.
Personal use
Modern Calendar is provided for personal scheduling and organization. You are responsible for the entries you create, the recipients you invite, and the way you use information stored in the app.
Your data and backups
The app stores its local database on your computer. You are responsible for protecting your device and keeping backups of information you need. The app includes backup and export features, but no backup method can guarantee recovery in every circumstance.
Connected services
Google Calendar sync and weather forecasts are optional and depend on services provided by Google and Open-Meteo. Their availability and use are subject to their own terms and policies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the permissions requested when connecting an account.
Availability and changes
The app is provided as available, without a promise that every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free. You should check important calendar information in your Google account or a current backup when needed. These terms may be updated alongside changes to the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
